A friend once said she felt like an alien longing to go back home, I can only agree. Our collective madness seems to have no end and we seem to keep loving the the fact that we’re dying in it.

The beginning is near folks, embrace it.

Relaxing Into Miracle

So I’m right here, within this one canvas wall. Warm, safe and void of energy. Beautiful things are in the making. Me and Anna are finally selling the house, Anna and Kristen moving to a new wonderful place by the sea not far from here. Me, I’m almost off to the forestral marvel of Elddalen and the sheer thought of it sends surges of joy through my being. All falls into it’s right place it seems and even though I at this moment fail to see how I’ll ever be able to gather the energy to pull this move through I feel with deep certainty that it’ll flow through just sweetly.
So I lay back and rest. Falling into the warm embrace of this wondrous healing home. The gentle movement of the flames in the stove accompanied by the flowing poems of Ben Bushill sending me off into a realm of deep trust and relaxation as I bury my body in this warm cocoon of down and soft cotton, relaxing into miracle.

Apocrypha At The Cozomiya Homestead

At the 6th of May, beneath the Eta Aquariid meteor showers, I’d like to invite you my friends, new and old, known and unknown, to an evening of sweet synthesis. I hope to see the artistic expressions of a great multitude of souls merging and giving instant birth to beauty and wonder. My wish is for this evening to be free from stressing schedules, economic restraints and performer-spectator separation. Instead I hope you will be drawn to and embedded in the forestral magic of Elddalen, The Fire Valley, El Valle del fuego just like I have, and that together we manifest love and magic in any given form, through music, movement, fire, words. Anything inhabited by the beauty of the soul.

The location is a wee bit north of Gothenburg, on the west coast of Sweden. At the end of a gravel road through the woods and a little further, hidden, secret, sacred. I’ll be sending out invitations to anyone catching my senses, enchanting my heart and soul, if you would like to recommend someone who has touched your heart with their art, please let me know.

Elddalen

Elddalen, The Fire Valley, El Valle del fuego. The place in my heart. The move is just round the bend now. Been spending quite some time in the tipi up there, working by hand, slow and rewarding. I’ve often felt it to be overwhelmingly disrespectful to with the use of the chainsaw cut down and basically slaughter a magnificant tree at least two, and often three, four or five times my age and barely break a sweat. The input given by working with axe and crosscut saw feels to be much more in proportion with the grand outcome of lumber and firewood. An exchange of sacrifice far more in balance. Elddalen itself is a mythical and magical realm and I feel it has drawn me there for clear reasons. Whenever I arrive there it cleanses my soul in an instant and fills me with pure love and excitement, presenting me new gifts at each visit. Last week the issue with the supply of fresh water got beautifully solved when in a wonderful chat over a bowl of soup with the landowners it came to my knowledge that there supposedly would be and old spring at the base of the rock which had provided many of the valleys dwellers with fresh water over the years but was no longer used since people have drilled wells instead. The next time I was up there me and Johannes went on a little quest for this spring and as suggested there it was. To my surprise it was well covered and taken care of. A solid cement ring and a cement lid with a smaller galvanized lid in it, big enough to lower a bucket and haul the wonderful clear and fresh water out. Allegedly the spring has never gone dry even though simultaneously supplying three households during the summer so I’m sure it’ll suffice for our rather modest consumtion. So Elddalen entered my life and brought with it the spirit of great change. As sweet as that may sound I’m having trouble coping with it. Lacking the energy to stand with my feet in different worlds, keeping the plastic shining. I guess another big choice is coming close to inevitable. I’m no doubt spending my energy with much more care nowadays but I feel a lot more has to be taken. Thoughts turn to loud voices when the rational self contradict the gut and heart and they’re getting to loud to be ignored or put on hold. The soul vibrates with anticipation but I don’t have the strength to get my ass to shake with it. Probably shouldn’t give it too much thought. It’s been a long cold winter, full of emotional processes. I guess with the rising spring sun and some rest, life will take the turn needed. All in all life is grand as always. Love and magic to those willing to receive.

Rising Life In The Fall Of Autumn

Fingers are frozen, the heart is healing and the smile has decided to stay on my face for the remainder of the day.
With the sun rising on the blue sky over the frosted rock came yet another new beginning, as so many times before it.
Guitar in hand, sliding over wet and icy rock. Gazing out over the sea, islands floating, birds in V formation, life sings.
And so from the east it comes, bringing colour and texture to the landscape, a spectral play on the beautiful hilltop pond’s iced surface, paying homeage to its hibernating and etherial dwellers, and I with it. Strings resonating with the morning and its beauty.

I hope to share this with you someday.

Ventures In The Slipstream

Morning cough, still no blood. Howling wind and the schedule speeks of milking the everfilling breast of Mammon. The soul screams for a day in the qaiaq on the raging seas, a barefoot venture on a lonely island, a fire on the beach and a night under the stars, a monoromance.

A leap betwen worlds. Cellphone on, get the tools in the car.

With a cheerful heart I sit through the tumble, awaiting the fall. The greater changes and the pivotal moment where life circles closer to necessity than vanity. The experience of being stripped down to little more than spirit. Then again, change is never coming, it´s ongoing, constantly. An infinite eightspoke flywheel backed by the steaming momentum of eons past and eons to come.

We´re the planted seed, the sleeping phoetus.
Redefine and realign.

It´s sunday, crack open a bag of grease and starch, get laid and turn to the capital T tube for some sweet consolation before the next lap in the ratrace.

I´ve got a recommendation, perhaps you´ll enjoy it.

WVO, The Golden Waste.

For about 10 years I´ve been looking at, thinking about and really wanted to run my car on WVO. For some reason though I never got round to converting, got stuck in the inspirational ether which can be alluringly passifying. However, it looks like now´s the time. I´m about to order a centrifugal filter and preheating kit from Selko Motor in Norway who market the American Dieselcraft centrifuges here in Scandinavia. So in not too long I hope to have both the Land Rover and the Yanmar Diesel for my 24V generator project up and running on free deepfryer waste oil. Good feeling!

Step out of time and all happens now.
